No single machine can effectively pre-test, clean, and refill the vast variety of cartridges that are used on various devices available. At The Ink Store, Inc., our line of cartridges and toners have gone through a unique refilling process where each has its own specialized equipment. With high-tech machines and environment-controlled facilities, our products are able to produce the finest quality prints, consistently over-and-over proving that we are you with the best refilled ink and toner cartridges available on the market today.

Our ink & toner cartridges must first pass a visual inspection for damage and compromised print heads, after which they are put through a pre-test machine designed for electrical circuit testing.

After the initial inspection, the cartridge is cleaned using a unique, atomized, heated water jet system, which penetrates the cartridge nozzle plate, thoroughly cleansing and unclogging all components. A microprocessor controlled flushing unit cleans out old ink and reconditions sponges with distilled water and an appropriate cleaning solution. A centrifuging machine spins out any excess water.

No matter how thorough the centrifuging or flushing machine may be, water may possibly remain in the foam core of a cartridge. Our products are remanufactured using a state-of-the-art, heated, forced air system to thoroughly dry the sponge in its cartridges and to ensure that no remaining water can contaminate the ink.

Once the cartridge is cleaned and dried, it is ready for refilling. Our vacuum-filling process ensures that the ink is evenly distributed and saturated throughout the entire sponge. The sponge of a cartridge absorbs more ink in a vacuum, thus our cartridges are able to be filled to maximum capacity.

Once the ink and toner cartridges meticulous process ends there is a print-test done to assure the highest quality, then a proper cleaning of the print head which is essential to proper sealing, and lastly, taping the nozzle. A semi-automatic sealing device is then used to provide extra protection to prevent leaking.
